Internal Adjustments (Input balancing)

This control allows for component

tolerances that would otherwise give

unequal outputs with both inputs at 4 mA

nd with both inputs at 20 mA.

1. Remove the electronics from the case

and connect up as shown above.

Set up two multimeters to measure the

voltages across terminals 4 & 3 and

terminals 4 & 2.

3. With both milliamp sources at 4.00 mA,

adjust the VR1 on the personality card

until both voltages are equal.

. Repeat the adjustment with both milliamp sources at 20.00 mA.

5. Repeat 3 & 4 until no further improvements can be made.
